The easier it for partners to access your PDC, the more likely they are to onboard and remain engaged in marketing. There are a few different options for proving your partners with access to the PDC, which are listed below. It’s important to pick an option which works best for you and your partners. If you have any questions about the different options and benefits of each option, you can review in more detail with your Success Manager.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
SSO is a process that automatically creates an account for your partner when they attempt to access it from your own private partner portal or private link. It uses their existing login credentials. This is by far the most intuitive way to get your partners onboarded and into the system quickly. As partners are already familiar with your existing portal, this becomes a natural way for them to access the PDC. In addition to having a smooth login process, SSO also allows us to automatically pass partner profile data such as region or certification level which automatically gets added to the partner's profile in StructuredWeb.
SSO does require development work. Typically it takes between 4-6 weeks to fully implement. If you plan on moving forward with SSO you want to confirm that the resources are available on your end to begin working with our development team.
Default Login Page
Every customer who signs up with StructuredWeb will have access to a default login page that can be accessed by their partners. This page includes your logo as well as a few required fields needed to login to the account from our system including a Site ID, Username and Password.
If your goal is to create a seamless environment and have partners login using their existing partner portal credentials we strongly recommend using SSO. If you don’t have the resources currently to launch SSO then you can’t go wrong with our standard login page. We will work with you to make sure the login process works for your partners.
