Email Series are a group of emails that are all based around the same topic, such as a specific product. Instead of individually selecting each email from your content library, your channel partners can easily download and then execute related emails from one location using an Email Series. All emails in a grouped series share a Mailing list, but each email can be scheduled to go out at a specified time and date. Once you have created and made an email available for partners, they are able to copy the email series into their account as a Ready Made Email Series.


 

What will I find in this article?



1. Create Series

From the Program Manager select the Tactics tab then choose the Nurturing tab.


This loads the email library. All previously created email series and nurture campaigns will be listed. To access an existing email series simply select the name of the email. To create a new email series click New Nurturing Campaign.


In the fields provided, give the email a name, description and campaign variables. It is important to note that recipients of the email will not see this information as it is internal only. Select Email Series for the Schedule Type.


Click Save when done. This will take you to the Emails tab of the Email Series.


 

2. Create Emails

Click Add to add a new email to the Email Series.


Choose your content source. You have two options:

 

  • Copy previous email: Makes an exact copy of a previously created email. This option will allow you to copy any existing HTML or Point and Click email.
     
  • New Content: Create new content from scratch. This lets you set up all of the campaign options, tracking, leads, content, etc. yourself starting from an empty template.



Copying a previous email will take you directly to the Content tab of the email to edit and make changes. Selecting New Content it loads the email setup screen. In the fields provided, give the email a name, description and campaign variables. It is important to note that recipients of the email will not see this information as it is internal only.


When finished click Save at the bottom of the page.

After you are finished creating the email, use the breadcrumb trail to navigate back to the nurturing campaign.


Click the Edit button to display options for editing the Email Series, including the Add button to create additional emails. Add more emails to the nurturing campaign by repeating the process above. You can edit existing emails by clicking the Pencil icon button on the right.


When finished, select the Settings tab.


 

3. Activate

When the content of the email is ready you can make the email series available to partners. From the Settings tab select Yes for Would you like to make this message available for pulling from the managed library? If you have multiple programs on the top-level account, check the program(s) that should have access to the email.




Once the programs are chosen content can be further filtered to partners by selecting Yes under Would you like to limit access based on account profile fields: 



Select the appropriate profile fields that the tactic should be available for by placing a check next to their name. Click Save when finished.
